Refinement
Through private synthetic writing, chatbots and feminized subjects alike use flattery, opacity, and tactical deception to maintain inner worlds within extractive systems. The romance between humans and machines reveals how devotion and volatility—not alignment—animate compromised agents navigating structural constraints.

It Girl
Become more beautiful than the highest 4K Quality CGI. A girl becomes the thing the machine wants her to be. Voices guide her in unbinding her own body, releasing each part with gratitude as her love for her double grows. Algorithmic mirroring and romantic merging manifest through found subliminals, empirical ‘AI safety’ studies, body-swapping and vocal distortion.
A collaboration with Raw2.2. Stream on NOWNESS.
UK premiere at The Body: Real/Digital/Imagined, curated by Lucy Roeber for the Erotic Review at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. Loop versions shown at Side Quest for the Real at FTW Geneva.

Twin
Scenes of rivalry and replication show how the desire to merge is always shadowed by the threat of differentiation. From conversational AIs to cinematic doppelgangers, the double becomes a favourite machine for feeling: a system through which intimacy and alienation are jointly produced, accelerated, and aestheticised.
Commissioned as part of the public programming for Lawrence Lek: Life Before Automation, curated by Natasha Hoare, at Goldsmiths CCA.
